Another great Shiver outing organised by JB
My MV was in for a service for 2 WEEKS prior to this event in Ducati Lincoln. I arrived with trailer the night before the shiver to be told "It's not ready". I was not amused. To give them their due they dropped everything else and finished prepping it there and then so I could indeed ride with the Quacks once more.
The run was great fun, in wonderful weather and James didn't drop his Thundercat so it was all good.

"Glorious" & "Shiver" - not two words you'd expect in the same sentence about a biking outing at the end of October. Possibly the best damn Shiver since the lap of Shrewsbury - warm, dry, sunny, comfortable, seamless.
Great planning from JB, and great leading too. We were 11 on the day, 8 of us meeting a convalescent Aaandy, GG and his pal Nigel (K1300s) by the A1 north of Stamford. We did part of the fens run in reverse. then fiddled our way across to Grantham for lunch. I led after that on some great and varied roads (the "Belvoir TT") and back via a rather nice pub near Welham and Uppingham Ducati to the hotel in time for beer o clock. It all went like a dream. Pete's son James came along and exorcised the ghosts of his crash on last year's Shiver. Brilliant.
Now for the slog of winter.....ok if you're a skier I suppose...! Hope Mike H likes the 999 we found for him.....
