"First off, a big thanks to the band (Gary, Adrian and Huw) for coming and really making the barbecue and event, especially to Huw and Trish for travelling so far and bonus points for the Penderyn. Well received as ever...
Special mention to Chris and Irma for maintaining sanity after an epic journey from Epsom, great to meet Irma and she was good company, another bonus points for the Te Beag whisky!
On that theme, Gary, 16yr old Highland park was most excellent, thank you.
Special metions also go to my cousing Iain and his wife Rachel for all their help before and after and for Iain manning the barbecue all evening,
also to JB for bringing Lyn, for all her help with prep and for bringing some fabulous Trout - we've eaten off the left overs for dinner this evening, superb.

Ben Lawson made his debut appearance with the Quack band to good effect (with proud parent in attendance, well done Nick).

Thanks also go to our friends and neighbours locally for producing some brilliant salads and deserts, especially to Helen Tzabar for the divine meringues.
Dan also did sterling work getting the bairns new slide built and pressed into service the same evening, top marks.

Hope you guys all enjoyed as much as we did, though after two days sorting barns out and shifting stuff in prep, I must apologise to our guests for being absent this morning, but I was shot. Gutted to miss out on that Jota ride too. However, I did go to look at some other wheels this afternoon and it looks like a deal is on the cards....

The sense of expectation is building for the September meeting and the subsequent Scotland tour... miss at your peril!
